Vinegar
Does vinegar have disinfectant properties? I know it is a good all round cleaner, grease cutter and all, just wondered if it kills bugs, thanks.

The standard 5 percent solution in a spray bottle is effective for household purposes... It should be noted, however, that while a solution of common bleach will kill HIV viruses, vinegar has been shown to be ineffective. Suffice it to say that for the usual cleanup duties around the house, vinegar works well. For other, more serious applications, however, bleach or other chemicals that have been appropriately tested should be used...
