Scratchcard That Won't Scratch

Got the free scratchcard in the Daily Mail on Saturday and there is no problem with that one but the one that was in the Mail on Sunday just will not scratch. It is as if the silver coating has been baked on. Have scratched holes in the past two days efforts and been unable to read the amounts so before I attempt the card for today has anyone any bright ideas.

Sundays was definitely harder to scratch, but the edge of a 2p coin seems to work ok, good luck.

i found that wiping it from left to right with a coin worked ,rubbing was no good

I had the same problem, no matter which coin I used. They just made holes in the card.

What a coincidence, a friend has lotto scratch cards that wouldn’t scratch on 3 occasions, he took it to the shop and they typed in the serial number and hey ho, it was a winner, this happened on two other occasions and he’d one £5 k, £1500 and £750 or so,this seems a ploy by big companies to have winning scratch cards but purposely hinder your attempts to see if you’ve won so they don’t have to pay out.



My guess is you’ve won so Phone them tomorrow and quote the serial number to them. Good luck! :)
