In my present guise as mr Nice Guy it pains me to ask this question
Is all the Bickering and bad blood between Andy Hughes and another old Git a set up,AOG keeps on about Andy Hughes being a moderator Andy Hughes is on about AOG being a racist,my question is is it all staged for the benefit of keeping the site going if I am wrong I humbly apologise,but it just seems to pat to be genuine,I hope that everyone is keeping well

No humble apologies needed! Personally, I quite often start reading a promising thread which descends into personal and more-or-less-pointless bickering and point-scoring between people. NOT, I hasten to add, necessarily the people you have indicated. Of course it's not a set-up - it is counter-productive. I give up and don't post on threads which have...

I was involved with a thread yesterday, and when I came back it had descended into Tom and Jerry again, so I gave up on it.

If it's a setup, it's not a very good one! I don't think any bickering does the site any good, and it's certainly not particularly interesting! (Lively debate yes, squabbling no.) Closing this thread for now while it's still peaceful as I think it has the potential of going pear-shaped.
