Ooooo, Pasta! Your title put the wind up me......I'm getting started on the garden!

That picture reminds me of Canadian snow....our house looked like that for months...but it was lovely snow..... :-)
It does look lovely. When it's somewhere else :-)

Give it 2 days...it will be dirty mushy slush.
I was lucky in Calgary, Pasta....well apart from snow arriving in perhaps September and staying till March or April....but we had The Chinook wind....or Snow Eater....
We could have feet of snow then see from our window the Chinook Arch.....this meant the warm wind was on its way and the temperature could rise by 30 degrees or more in less than twenty four hours...
The show would just vanish!

I got married on Good Friday, the 9th of April ....in N.Y.
The British rellies flew on the Wednesday....
One group ended up in Boston...
The other in DC....
Due to a blizzard.
They both ended up in or near NYC....I to meet my brother in law at Grand Central at 1am.
If I remember correctly, the snow was gone on the Friday.
We got married during a Calgarian heatwave, Pasta......but invited no relatives...
It was many months after returning to the UK that, chatting with family, I mentioned our wedding....
There was silence.....then exclamations of.......Wedding! Wedding!......You're married?!!!!!!! :-)
