Yes, that'd be nice. And perhaps a statue of him giving his speech, either on Parliament Square or welcoming people as they arrive at Dover- what do you reckon?
I spent some time in Israel. I was expected to apologise for the holocaust, simply because I am a gentile. Never mind the fact that I wasn't born when the holocaust happened, that I have nothing in common with nazis, and that no English person, (to my knowledge), has ever been accused of nazi war crimes. Still, I was expected to accept the guilt.
