More music

Here are the notes for another piece of music i have been trying to place for ages - again, they are very approximate, but should give you an idea! F F F D# C# A# G# C# D'# F# F C#

any chance you could somehow try and convey the tempo and length of notes and where the melody is going up or down please? I mean is the D# higher of lower than the F? So far it could be anything.

as you can probably tell I am not a musician! The Fs at the start and end are the highest notes and are the same note, all the others are the ones immediately to the left on the piano (technical!). As for the tempo, i thought that would be a problem, it's very slow, the first 3 notes are much longer than the others - I think its from an opera, it has been driving us all mad for months!

It's "The Anvil Chorus" from "Il Trovatore by Guiseppe Verdi. Fantastic Piece.

Crikey, hats off to gazza there! I did try this last night but my piano is on the other side of the room and I couldnt print out the notation LOL

He he he, no problem. I'm doing some plastering at the moment (which I absolutely hate to do), but if you've got any more I'll have a go later.

have just downloaded it and my kids have been trying to sing along (my son is convinced it says "viva espana" in the middle). brilliant, thanks again

Thanks Kags, and to PaulB, I only saw this this morning, and quickly copied it off the screen by hand. My keyboard is upstairs but I had to rush coz I knew sft42 (amongst others) would be hovering, trying to crack it!
