Would there be any fair maidens on these shores who can offer a welcoming haven to a sad lonely old seadog?

where on these shores are you? if you are in portsmouth, then you will have no trouble at all finding a warm welcoming wench. believe me, the birds in pompey are more than willing. they love sea-dogs. i'm not a bird by the way.

Do you know bootstrap Bill by any chance?
Question Author
He was a good man who sailed the high seas. A true pirate.
lol cool!!!!!!!!!!! I lke your choice of user name master Jack!!!!!!
Bootstrap bill was a bloody toe-rag. Same as that other fella, can't quite think of his name, but i sailed with both of em and can assure you that i aided them in the most sordid and terrible deeds. A good time was had by all mind you. If you want good sea-faring stories, i am now settled in Portsmouth, and can be found spinning many a good yarn in the local drink holes. Look me up or just ask my true name. Arrrrhhh
