Anybody see C4's Dispatches (for some reason not shown last week when it was first advertised)?

Are/were any of you guys aware of Muslim advocacy groups like MEND and CAGE?

What did you make of it?

not seen and not heard - unlike Chinese, Brexiters, Roman Catholics ( Jacob Rees Mogg - o gawd as ni wd say)

advocacy here has a inner derogatory meaning
supporting something that is in need of support

would you have an advocacy group in support of stopping at red traffic lights ? No because everyone can see it is (quite) a good thing.

er and no I know of no advocacy group for muslims

Really!? I’d have thought they were in the top three subjects of political debate.

I believe there are 300+ such taxpayer funded groups.
I only hear of them when they have their funding removed. Usually for promoting Jihad which the Government claims wasn't quite the plan.

No, I assumed that there would be such groups, but I was not aware of who they are and I didn't see the C4 programme. Reading the answers so far has been interesting.

Soft Johnny English will go to work, pay taxes, and then watch aghast as every minority group gets funding for, "Community leaders," "Yoof workers", and counselling for those suffering from, "Offence!"
