regarding the first question sent corsa 1.0 12 valve 3 cylinder thanx for the advice however i have changed throttle control on 3 occassions and all appear to be fine can anyone advise where the ECU is on a vauxhall corsa and if any other parts also need changing as a pair as i have been told will the ignition key and coder need changing ??

my wife has a corsa i will check tonite and post an answer tomorrow if no one else has. however what i was saying is not a throttle control it is a bypass to let your engine tickover and does cause the problems that you state. when you changedthe item you call a throttle control was it a new one that you replaced it with, ifnot it may still need cleaning, a lot cheaper than a new ecu.

it would seem that the EMC(engine management control) is to the right hand side of the engine, back of the cylinderhead?
