Agree every time and she has nowhere else to go.

or a brill line in my experience with my MIL was 'let's agree to disagree' - always floored her, the first time I used it quite spectacular.

I agree with Mamy - anytime anyone tries to wind you up/insult you, just agree with them. If you argue they'll just go on and on; agreeing shuts them up.
