I've had about 6 programmes that 'Failed' to record over the last few days - Is anyone else had this problem I had those that 'Clashed' but never 'Failed' Is it Sky or my Sky box/
The Sky website suggests the old trick of 'turning it off and turning it on again' as a possible fix for your problem. (i.e. remove the power to the box, wait 30 seconds and power it up again).

Depending on whether you have a 'traditional Sky Box' or Sky +, you could switch off and unplug box for 5 minutes and then somewhere in the menus is an option to do a reset. This often sorts the box out. If you call Sky, they will talk you through this.
