Laminators

dont know how laminators work, but if I was to laminate 2 peices of paper which are less than A5, can I put them in an A4 sheet and then cut them into two or do I have to do them singly in A5?? I havent got a laminator but thinking of buying one.

As long as there is sufficient space beteen them to ensure that the laminates are sealed togethe at each edge (after cutting), then yes.

There's two different sorts of Laminator. One of them will fuse the pouchh to the surface of the paper, the other will only fuse to itself. So if its the latter you can refer to Debsoutho's answer if its the former you can go cutting anywhere you like. Try it out by send just one side through on a sheet of paper and see if it sticks. The problem with cutting it where there is paper, is that, even if the laminate has stuck to the paper, you will no longer have a perfect seal, so allowing ingress of moisture (via the edge of the paper).
