Mobility Scooters.
Are mobility scooters legally required to have insurance?
Jus applied for a rental house and they asked if I had an insurance certificate for my scooter. I don't.

As someone who has had one for years, I've seen a few misconceptions on this thread.
As said, liability insurance is not compulsory, but a good idea. Theft insurance can be included with any household policy, but you have to advise.
8mph scooters are legal on the road but not on the pavement AT THAT SPEED. No registration plate is required, nor road tax. If registered disabled, tax is exempt anyway.
Seriously can't understand why a landlord would have an interest like that though. None of their business.
