In spite of the likes of Daniel B Wallace, and other eminent scholars, am I to disbelieve our Lord and Saviour?
Answerbank is or has become a closed shop.
I will give you all a break, and take a break for a while.
I am sure this will be welcomed, so, goodbye for now.
Thank you all. X
Theland, I am an atheist and don't often venture into this part of AB. I don't agree with many of the religious posts but you have the right to post them. If religion helps you on your journey through life then hold on to your faith.
Theland, you’re playing the victim – yet again. More attention seeking.
All the information that Daniel B Wallace has at his fingertips is available to anyone who chooses to examine it. Whilst he reaches his own conclusions, in reality he knows no more than any other scholar in the field.
I often go on a break Theland when the site irritates me or I feel I have nothing constructive to offer, I just don't tend to announce it. Have a rest and come back when you fancy.
//If i believed in god, that energy of belief would be converted into loving actions i'd make towards my neighbours and friends etc.//
Why do you think a belief in God would necessarily be converted into loving actions Spath? The evidence is all around that this is not necessarily the case.
grow up, so many take breaks without having to announce or flounce, it's a website, no one makes you log in or reply for that matter, you're an adult, no need to say what you're planning on doing, enjoy the break.
