DAB reception

Why does DAB reception vary? I like to listen to BBC7 but earlier this year it disappeared. A few weeks later it was back, but now it has gone again. I'm led to believe that as there is a Test Match on BBC1Extra the bandwidth for BBC7 is reduced to a point where I can't receive it. Surely the BBC wouldn't do this???

Have you visited the BBC Reception website?

On there you can check DAB coverage and check for possible engineering work that may have been happening on your local transmitter. Also, advice on reception problems etc. Worth a look.
