Portable Doorbell
29 Answers
Called to visit friend there - rung her doorbell, rapped the letterbox - she has become a bit deaf and is at the back of the house etc. She won't accept being as deaf as she really is.
But I know she had a bell alert on her coffee table and could hear the doorbell when I called previously.
Anyway phoned her there and she was in the whole time but didn't hear letterbox, bell or whatever.
She said the bell batteries needed replaced too often she couldn't be bothered anymore.
Is there anything I could get for her and also easy enough for me to install. Thanks.

One small lithium battery is always going to be required in the sender unit (ie bell-push)....unless one takes the backward step of having a power supply hard-wired to the bell-push...rather last century, methinks.
