I am now 198lbs lighter.
I lost weight on holiday!!
Only another 35lbs to go to get to the surgeon set target, but who knows I may add 14lbs to that will wait and see how I feel after those last 35lbs.

I dont really like clothes shopping either in fact, I hate any form of shopping. I do most of it online because I really dont like changing rooms and I really dont like lots of people in shops.

well done you, keep at it.

Lol Barmaid, actually clothes shopping is a pain when you have to do it!!
Its got to the point where I am buying the barest minimum to get through the month unless there is a really good deal on then I buy a few sizes down!
Hate to say it but jeggings are my new best friend, the are the only thing that I buy these days that are over £30 as it really is the case of pay more for better quality with them!
Totally amazing Islay - you must have real perseverance to have stayed the course. May the next 35 lbs drop off you like raindrops off a leaf x

Your achievement continues and together with your enthusiasm the target develops. You are a remarkable lady, Islay. So pleased you had a great holiday :)
Really really proud of you xx

Oh dear apparently reading about my weight loss is nauseating! What a shame!
i dont find it nauseating
You absolutely must stop thinking of food as a treat - it is simply fuel to keep you going and the 'wrong' food is poison.
Find other ways to treat yourself.
Brilliant achievement, a new life really.x
Do you enjoy food now , given that you are full , after eating a very small amount ?
Question Author
Given how I react to some foods HC - I will always allow myself at treat otherwise it like being on a constant diet and its not a diet its a way of life.
The way it was explained to me was that if a thin person wanted a treat they would have one just a small one - therefore I should do the same.
Bazile - at times yes at others no - had a family bbq whilst away and managed to eat loads of protein (well loads for me), but went out for dinner at a post restaurant and only managed a tiny bit of goats cheese - it really depends on so many factors, like environment and heat and stress etc as to how my stomach is going to behave when faced with food!
Will it always be like that, Islay? Or will your body slowly adjust? I know you've had one or two "episodes" where you've collapsed - is that likely to stop?
