Anyone Have Siblings That Are Twins/triplets

I have twin brothers

I have three twin sisters.

Yes, I am a twin with my sister. We also have older sisters who ae identical twins.

And a brother.
My mother had 5 children below the age of 4. I don't know how she coped..

how did it affext your family dynamic? Did you feel left out?

Ha! my brother (middle of 5) is probably the most succesful of all of us, though he was the only one who did not go to university.

The issue is that one can never know how things might have turned out otherwise.

Did having a load of twins as siblings affect him? How can we possibly answer that?

The older two were (and remain) quite close. My brother was more independent, but my sister and I don't have much in common nowadays, except a birthday.

I also have 2 older brothers as well as the twins who are the youngest. As the only 'girl' in the middle I never felt left out. I'm still very close to all of them.

The family dynamic happens. It depends on many things, including personalities; strength of the parents and other carers.

However, in general, I tend to think that the more offspring there are, the less opportunity there is for parents to direct and control the dynamic.

With so many children so close in age, there was not a lot of time or opportunity (or spare energy) for our parents to intervene in the many disputes that arose, so we tended to sort them out among ourselves.

Good or bad? I have no idea, but that's the way things turned out in our family.

I have twin cousins (identical) and my mother is an identical twin.

I know two sets of triplets.

My mum and her twin had an elder sister who was always very bitter and jealous towards them. She used to call them "the twins" rather than call them by their names.

Their father never met his eldest daughter until she was 5 years old but my mum and her twin we born out in Hong Kong and so he knew them from birth.

None of them stood a chance really, for he made his disgust obvious at the fact he'd had 3 girls when he only wanted boys.

As I said I had twin brothers (deceased now). They were identical with ginger hair which turned to auburn as they got older and fabulous thick hair.

They had a language of their own which the rest of family couldn't understand and called each other all words of the day. But we all knew that was their talk to each other - they adored each other.

When one was 18 he went to London and the other missed him too much and followed him and the two of them never really came back to the fold ie family - just for holidays.
