Went to see the Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society film at lunchtime. Thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was very well done. I read the book many years ago and wondered how they would translate it into film. Great adaptation and I recommend it.

I read the book recently and was stunned that it had avoided my rummages through bookshops for 10 years. Loved the book but will avoid the film...at least for a few years. Will pick it up in a couple of years when th original is not so fresh in my mind. Good to hear the film was well done and stuck to the story.

Had never heard of the book prior to release of the film which I’m not long back from seeing.

Excellent story, great acting and stunning scenery.
I highly recommend it.
