Plus, best not forget that we all, depending on our rods and cones, see "colours" a little differently. I was obliged to have colour blindness test regularly when I was fixing colour TVs to ensure that my eyes fell within the parameters required to set the colour scale on one.

Honestly Prudie…. it does come up a little more blue. Not obviously but more so than the charts are showing. Been there.

I agree we probably do see colours differently even if slightly - I have a constant argument with OH about his brown trousers (which I hate) that he insists are grey :-)

Be warned, Dulux Egyptian Cotton and Gentle Fawn are also pale, bluish greyish. Most odd.

indeed. As Stevie said on the black and white pedestrian crossing, 'Now you see me and now you don't' - could apply here to blue, apple-green and white.'

Thank goodness Turner, Reynolds and Constable weren't jaded when it came to their palate.
