How to get your brain up to speed
In today's Guardian a report
Cold meat and chocolate will get your mind fit ... and sex is handy too, according to a new book
But
avoid people who whinge, whine and complain,' said Author.
Does that mean the excess of moaning on AB about immigrants, homesexual's, benefit dependant famillies etc should be avoided if you want a fit and healthy brain?

Now, I admit to liking a meat sarnie, and enjoy a bit of the other, chocolate, that is.
As for the rumpy pumpy stuff, well, all I can say is that my rather overly successful days of procreation are a thing of the past, and I have lived in happy celibacy for seven years.
The thought of having to go through all of that again would be enough to make me reach for my meat sarnie and Yorkie bar, washed down with a drop of the supermarkets good ole' screwtop varnish remover. Lipsmackin' good and no complications!
So, ruby, where do I fit into the psychological profiling? (I cringe in anticipation of an answer).

I have always thought that people who blame everyone else for their woes are just bitter and angry individuals who take it out on people less fortunate than themselves. Now I can take solace that the reason is because they are not getting enough sex.
Whingers are quite draining and depressing. However, far from being avoided, much pleasure can be derived from pricking their bubble of security. I know I am doing them a favour in the long run, so I do not feel any guilt.

Gromit has a point. We live in a strange, blameless society where anything that goes wrong is always someone else's fault, or the consequence of unfortunate circumstances. Whingers, who often have nothing much to whinge about, but simply feel they're hard done-by, sap the listener's energy - a bit like the Dementors in Harry Potter - they tend to suck all the happiness out of those around them and it can be incredibly draining.
I do believe that whinging is habit-forming - the more a person whinges, the more they will whinge, often losing their sense of humour completely along the way - so they need to be aware of that, but taking an interest in life and debating current affairs, whether you're for or against a particular topic is, I believe, healthy, and does help to keep your mind up to speed.
Good thinking Haggis - and come to that, you too China. :o)
