Hi Sqad - I am a bit worried here.

My sista is an extremely independent person and even when she is unwell would never tell me.

However she has had a terrible cough for a couple of weeks now and has been to the doctors - is supposed to take inhaler - I saw on Sunday and I know she wasn't taking it correctly.

However an extremely unusual thing for her to ring me and just "I feel funny" - I said why way - don't know - can't get the words out. She thinks it could be the medication etc.

I genuinely don't know what to do as I going to head off to her house now - can you advise please. thanks

Because she would have been waiting around waiting for an appointment card and you would have been asking questions on here about 'why could then not send her an acknowledgment'!!
Its saves the continuous phone calls to the out patients department - 'have you got my referral' or 'I have not heard from your'
How much do you think it costs to send out a letter of that sort Jennyjoan?
I agree totally.
^^^ That was to jj.
our doc gives you a card and you can take it into the X ray dept in the Infirmary without an appointment ..certain hours each day an open clinic sort of thing..if the doc thinks it is important enough to get done soon as...

"Was this letter useless and expensive to send - why not send her the actual appointment date."

Exactly!
we also get a letter telling us to expect our postal vote forms soon...? what's that about..just send them !
