slapping a piece of wood.

i was told that slapping a piece of pine would help the flow of blood in the hands...
pine was recomended because it is solid, but has a little bit of give...
would it be safe for me to slap a plank, or could i expect to get splinters ??

would the slapping help with blood circulation in my hands ???

Why not slap Kay - i understand she's a bit of a plank!!!!!!

funkymoped, if you are having trouble with your circulation, i would suggest that you slap the nearest thing to hand, so to speak. Hope that helps with the blood flow! sorry, where were you having trouble with the blood flow again?????
