I don't think anybody went over the top in the acting department. Everybody reacts differently to grief in real life and this was well portrayed by everyone in last night's excellent episode.
I really hope it has a positive impact on those in real life who are going through depression and that they CAN talk about their feelings, although with stupid phrases like 'man up' I'm not surprised a lot of men feel they can't express their emotions.
The method of suicide would have been that it could of been accidental as the Police were there ages trying to find out even though the note Aiden left "don't go in the bathroom call the police", it cant have been wrists or pills so guessing drowning in bath, so sad my heart goes out to anyone in Aiden's situation and the family and friends of the person, I hope Corrie helps people on the edge.
