How about the 'ask the host'? Jeremy C. hasn't been much help. I don't know if the supervisors in each one of the 'phone a friend' houses get paid but if so it must have cost ITV a small fortune this week. On the whole it has been nice to have this show back but I can't help feeling a bit disappointed with the contestants. They just don't seem to have the general knowledge these days. Just hoping someone does well over the next few days .

I think there's something very suspicious about the questions that Clarkson claims not to know the answer to. Either he's being paid a bonus "not to know" or he's even thicker than I thought.

A lot of time wasted with dithering about and chatting between questions. Plus the endless annoying ads . I did wonder as well if sometimes the laughter from the audience could be 'canned'?
