A friend offered to cut the lawn whilst Mr bm is away next week.

Him: but he's not using my new lawnmower. Tell him to bring his own.

And then the fight started......

Hi, BM....probably the day when, very pregnant, I was leaning over the wall of the outdoor hot springs in Banff taking pictures of MrG and friends floating about and using the new camera he'd bought for me to take pictures of them......

I fainted...just for a few seconds....two kind ladies helped me up and took me to sit in the car til the others arrived....

MrG: You disappeared from the wall...what happened?
Me: I fainted.
MrG: Oh my god!!! Is the camera okay....did you damage it?

Alas, the two feline despots think differently. I am told when to eat, when to get up in the morning and when to go to bed at night.

At night I am slept on (Frankie) and stomped all over (Princess Merlin) and wakened up on a regular basis to feed and/or pamper them.

I'm going to give a serious answer. I always thought I was top e.g. if I wanted to do something we would do it. However my husband intensely disliked my brother in law. As he lived in America it wasn't a problem for us most of the time. However they came for a holiday once and I wanted to invite them to stay for a few days. My husband utterly refused to have them cross the threshold. I couldn't change his mind. I had to invent a fictional food leak to keep them away. It utterly turned our relationship upside down for a while

So it went on and now I'm number one again to all my brood.
