Quiz Night

Went to a quiz night. This area of Dundee is very multi-cultural and we had a wonderful night. The question masters were Spanish and French, the food, prepared by a family from Bangladesh was just so delicious and everyone mixed and had a great time. Hope to attend more events like this in the future. And no, we didn't win the international quiz but did get a box of Roses to share out.

We actually won at our local Pub Quiz last night [full disclosure - only 4 teams pitched up] - so we now have two bottles of 'vintage' (ahem) wine to use up - so if anyone neeeds paint stripping ...

I used to like a pub quiz but don't go anymore as I got fed up with people cheating on their mobile phones

That's why the prize is so naff at ours, 237SJ - it's just not worth cheating :)

A friend went to a pub quiz last night..... £280 in the kitty...then...

The quizmaster divided the kitty into three.....£250 in one envelope..... £20 then £10 in each of two more envelopes....the three top teams would get an envelope each....

The team which came first in the quiz got first pick from the three envelopes......and got the one with the £10 inside......more than a little disappointed they were..... :-)

Pub quizzes maybe, but it doesn’t sound like this was a ‘pub’ quiz.
Quiz nights are great and the more diverse the better :-)

Was a great night marval and no, it wasn't in a pub but in a library. As I said this is very much a multi cultural area of Dundee and organisers would never hold such events in a pub.
