Legal Aid
4 Answers
Does anyone know if there is a time limit on querying whether solicitor's fees should have been levied? 9 years ago the solicitor who dealt with my divorce said I would qualify for legal aid and made an application for me. When I eventually received my divorce settlement, fees of approx 1000 had been charged. I did not have the confidence to query this at the time so paid them but it has always niggled at me. Can I query this after so much time?
