I know this has been done to death but does anybody wonder why Maddie was kidnapped or whatever happened the little girl and the twins were left.

this has been done to death..the parents were remiss to leave 3 young kiddies alone and someone took advantage ..I think all the conspiracy stuff is nonsense, you can see the anguish in their faces... should never have happened..but it did..and I doubt anyone will ever know what happened to the poor wee mite.

The Portuguese police were so incompetent that any possibility of finding her was lost in the first hour. Firstly they failed to secure the crime scene, even allowing reporters and members of the public to wander around inside the flat,some of them even took away items as 'souvenirs'. They failed to act on several viable reports of a suspicious man who was seen near the crime scene with a child that looked like Maddie. There have been reports that the Portuguese police were not just incompetent ,they were under orders to cover up for a high ranking Portugues government minister who was involved in or ordered the kidnaping.

Yes he is. Eddie says "there have been reports that...." he didnt say it was acknowledged as truth.

Personally I think any such reports are at best, ill informed. I suspect the Portuguese police' actions are more to do with protection of the main economy than anything else. Let's face it, it isnt going to do tourism any good to acknowledge there is a child abductor loose in the resort - far better to cast aspertions on the parents.

My main point is that the Portuguese police DID NOT seal off the crime scene immediately as is the standard procedure. There were news reporters and members of the public roaming around having a look at everything.That was reported in all the UK newspapers. It was even reported that some of the 'sightseers' took objects from the scene as 'souvenirs' that was also in the news reports.
