They haven't been neglecting the eggs at all, Wolf. They are fantastic parents. There was a problem with the laying this year and it looks like these eggs are unviable. There were three eggs. One of them has gone.

It has made me very sad. I have been watching the web cam for about four years now.

For those of you having trouble accessing this site here is an extract from their FAQ pages

Someone's said the same on my local forum. There could be many reasons with the failure of the eggs.
The parents have been there for some years, now. One or both of them could be infertile, due to age. Or, the eggs could have become chilled.

I too have wondered about this, usually 4 chicks hatch at this site.
