but no i dont think it should. a car is a convenience, a way to move around go where you like - if you are unable to stop your car anywhere in front of a house, it would be a complete pain in the ***
the problem is, people would want their own kerb ... but wouldnt like other people to stop them parking elsewhere
No. It would never work.
It's possible to get a disabled space outside your house, but it is available for any vehicle with a Blue Badge.
I live on the street. I along with my neighbours paid for a dropped kerb. We know it doesn't guarantee anything (although some think its a guarantee of a space...it's not) but we did hope that some people would think , they don't.
Im a numptie who puts a cone out and why on earth shouldn't I? We come home with monthly shopping ( yes even us numpties eat) and we have to park for 10 mins in the middle of the street , holding up the traffic, whilst we scuttle back and forth. We have 2 vehicles which we wash, not possible when you have a selfish git parking up all weekend at your house as he doesn't want a big van outside his window blocking the light but he's happy to do that to you. As a road tax payer i'm well aware that we are are all entitled to park responsibly but i'd like everyone to park consideraby and thats the defining line.
Definitely NO. Due to the increase in street congestion once everyone is home after a "hard" working day the authorities should introduce a new law that all cars should have their own dedicated OFF ROAD parking space.
No, we already have to walk on the road many times with cars parked on the pavement
