I cooked a Roast Lamb dinner as a birthday treat for an 'old' friend ...

... lamb studded with rosemary and flash roasted over a bed of root veg in truffle oil - then left to rest for a good while whilst we had cocktails :+)

Bottle of Amarone with the lamb then fresh coffee with Poitín chasers.

The electric bike ride home must have been fun :+)

anyway i had hoi-sin pork last night with stir fried veggies (no fireworks)

We had goujons of haddock in submarine rolls with chunky chips and homemade cake for afters; gallons of wine before, during and after.

No pyrotechnics nor pyromaniacs present.
