All you can do is be plain in your question - add query then follow with 'you'll need to have done the puzzle to help'.

Well you posted in Crosswords so it was reasonable for us to ask for details of a clue.Many answers are given from people who don't have the relevant magazine/paper.
Incidentally it looks to me as if mally had already confirmed your KNEE answer before you asked again on a second thread. There's no need to start separate questions- check for previous answers first, and this post would also have made more sense as a reply to your original question.
But I'm happy not to waste my time on people who don't want my attempts to help.
