It's a question I'm asked quite often.

I have 3 and my favourite is the one who is behaving the best. I get on with all of them

My OH has a favourite and it's really obvious. He favours the middle child. He can't hide it.

I give mine alternate weeks as favourite - keeps them both happy ;-)

That's what I do Mams
I have worked with quite a few children and know some adults who know a parent has a favourite and who have felt absolutely worthless...a woman I know , in her 60's, is still trying to get her mothers love after years of being not quite as good as her sister in her mothers eyes....so so sad. The damage done in ongoing through life.

How close are you to your family? Mine are my best friends.
My daughter in law is 36 and an only child, her Mother has never told she loves her. I find that really sad
I have three frenz where the fave daughters turned out to be complete flunkeads
no four.... no five
and you think god whatever did they see in them ?
and that is how the un-favoured siblings think too

Thats really sad. My parents were really loving. OH adores his mum. My OH opens doors for me, carries my bags, he does everything for me....unless his mum is with us.
Lol, Ummmm. That's funny.
My youngest daughter is my favourite, she is a lovely woman, kind and thoughtful and her daughter is my favourite grandchild, she is so like her mum was at that age.
I'm one of four, and each of us have completely different personalities, so we all bought something different to the table. My older sis is the most caring, I'm the 'smartest' apparently, my brother is the funniest and my little sister is the most easy going. Our Mum died 8 years ago, not close to our dad, but we all joke about having a favourite sibling, and chat daily. It's lush.

Out of my two dogs, I dont have a favourite, both have their own quirks and are wonderful in their own way!
My mum always used to say "I love you all the same but I don't always like you all the same" pretty much how I am with mine.
