Mobile Connecting To Servce

My wife bought a new I-Phone and i have taken over her old phone. Contacted a Provider who have sent me a Zim card which was fitted yesterday but the phone is still displaying No Service. Any advice on what to do to get connected to the service. Thanks for any help.

Is the phone unlocked to any network, or, is the SIM for the network that your wife was on?

I think it's the same network but she is not home yet but will double check when she gets home.

If they turn out to be different providers and your wife’s ex-phone was originally on a contract which has now finished, she ‘should’ be able to get it unlocked by the original provider for a minimal fee or even for nothing. Then you can use any SIM you like.
