24 Hr Blood Pressure Test

Right 45 mins in to the 24 hours and I am already annoyed by this thing - its gone off 3 times and I have a stinking headache!
How am I going to get through the next 23 hours?
Oh and I have to keep a diary of when driving or times when I am not just sitting down.
Off to get some headache tablets!

Yes Ann started me today on tablets

When do you get your bp checked again ?

Sorry Anne went to bed - three weeks so as to let the tablets kick in and then they are doing liver and kidney function tests and some other tests as well apparently.

When I was in hospital they took my blood pressure every half an hour during the day and every hour through the night. Add in that I was on a drip and everytime I moved it set an alarm off...really exhausting. When I got home I fell asleep sitting up, crossed legged, dribbling :-D

What are your symptoms of high blood pressure?

I didn't have any Ummmm other than an annoying headache - I had actually gone to the GP for my B12 injection early because I was so tired whilst there they did a routine check of BP and it was too high - from there I ended up doing the 24 hour test and now on medication!
