I've been in bed now for nearly 2 hours and I can tell it's going to be a night where sleep eludes me completely. My bedroom is like a sauna and there's nothing but garbage on the box.

So ... I just went and fetched a very nice G&T.

Anyone else indulging?

NoM, the bar I was in had 76 Gins! I also tried a Sipsmiths and two others which, for some reason, I can’t recall the name of. I always have it with a very basic tonic, non of these fancy fevertree types which I find fights the flavours in the gin.

I've just finished a very mediocre Greenall's Gin. I love the JJ Whiteley Elderflower gin. I love Opihr too.

Belvoir Rose & Elderflower Presse makes a nice mixer.

Chris, I got the wrong Waggon and Horses. There's 3 pubs with that name in this part of the world and more than one Stourbridge Road.

It took OH a while to figure out which one it was and he's lived here all his life.

Also, I think there may be a Co-op in Wall Heath which would be nearer than Catshill.
