Any ideas how to fade red acne scars quickly and cheaply? I have had a bad breakout and am now left with red scars which make my complexion still look spotty. I have spent a lot of money on clearing the acne so now need a cheap but effective way of fading the scars so my complexion looks healthier! Cheers guys!

Have you tried retin-a cream? If you are lucky your GP may prescribe this for you. My sister had severe acne for years and now has a beautiful complexion. Failing this, try vitamin E capsules from a healthfood shop. Pop one open and massage it in the scars a night time, I swear by this for scars.

I had some scarring and retin-a cream is great, but you can only get it on prescription.

Another thing that helps is microdermabrasion. It's inexpensive and it's not painful. I noticed a difference after about 3 sessions at �30 a session.

I have been using the vitamin e capsules (both taking them orally and cutting them in half and applying!) and that appears to be working! it is quite sticky but putting it on overnight has definitely improved the scars :) good luck sahida, it's rubbish isn't it!!!
