Leather Jacket Stolen Again

got my son another leather jacket for his xmas(again,the first one was stolen at a works night out)I am angry cos the jacket was expensive,is this a new craze or do you just pick up the jacket you fancy or take everything to the toilet with you????

don't ever leave jackets..bags..phones unattended... everything goes to the loo or the bar !

It's not new, I had my coat stolen on a night out when I was a teen and my eldest Daughter did too.

Treated myself to a leather jacket for my 21st, a lifetime ago, slinky. Cost me a good few quid out of my army wages and wore it for the first and only time on a night out. Didn't lose it, but when i came to hang it back in the wardrobe at the end of the night, there were 3 large cigarette burns in the back of it. Obviously done intentionally and probably out of jealousy. There are those who don't like seeing others have nice things. That's why cars are scratched, flower-beds trampled, etc. Of course, it could just have been an opportunist thief looking to make a few quid by selling your son's leather on. If you do get him another, super-glue it to his back.

My uncle is a landlord and he has loads of coats that people have just left behind after they've had a few beers. I've done that loads of times myself.

I've lost a few jackets and handbags on nights out. Don't trust anyone. You can't even ask your friend to mind your things while you go to the loo, because their back might be turned for one second, and things will go.
