I love when a good show of any sort gets a standing ovation.....but I've never seen a whole audience rise as one at the end........this was just bliss tonight..... :-)
They do, Sadie......and not just on stage. Must take so much work to put everything together so cleverly and developing new sets all the time......
As we were leaving we saw one outside the stage door having a quick drink and ciggie before going back to sign goodies and chat with folk.....a lovely group of people as well as incredibly talented....x
Berkhamsted a town near me hosts an annual ukulele festival each year, Ukes for Unicef, all amateur groups, they raise a lot of money, always a good day. Lovely instrument x
I really hope not, sadielady - I was there on a scholarship, so any silver spoon was entirely lacking in my family.
In my day there was an ethos about the school being part of the community - but I had heard that things had changed over the years (and not for the better).
