The Handmaid’S Tale – Beware – Potential Spoiler

It finished on Sunday – but joy of joys – another series is scheduled for next year. There's not much I can say I enjoy about television, but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this enthralling saga of a truly horrifying dystopian society. Anyone else?

Oh my fantastic series, brilliant story and brilliant acting.
The ending has me on the edge of my seat and i cannot wait for the next series.

This is a book I have wanted to read for a long time, and have only recently acquired, so I will look forward to that and will cheerfully bypass the tv series

ick the only real difference between the book and the series is the use of coloured actors

I don't want to watch a TV series when I am about to read the book!!

Anyway, I can't think of a single TV series in any case which has ever done remote justice to a good book, with the possible exception of a Russian TV dramatisation of The Master and Margarita, and even that of course could not compensate for the words fo the author.

I'd be happy to watch it out of interest maybe in the future

I completely agree, absolutely riveting and really looking forward to series two.
Have you looked at the hidden meanings behind the costumes, that too is very interesting..the colours chosen, the subtle design of some aspects.
The handmaids outfits are being worn by many women's groups when they protest about women's issues. And as fancy dress too!
