They are sending him home as soon as support and a special bed can be arranged. There is no chance he can heal and the infection isn't resolving. He wants me to stay overnight with him. He is fully aware of what is happening and just wants to be home with me. I will post again when I know more

I know exactly what you are going through Rowan and imo it doesn't get any more difficult than this. Just keep doing all you can for him and make the best memories you possibly can. Anything you can do to bring peace and comfort to your loved one is your focus. Take care.
