Nine years will be ok if he gets to serve it but I bet he wont.

And such arrogance too: "Do you know who I am" indeed.

Why Gromit, do you like jeopardizing cases?
I don't know who he is but I know what he is. Perverted creep - and that's putting it politely!!
Vile is right.
Of course he got what he deserved, BUT what about the wife?
Isn't she as bad, letting a 13 year old girl share their bed......and sex?
What excuse did the girl's mother have for letting her daughter out all night.
This is a slap in the face for society, not just for the Mayor.
Disgusting man, got what he deserved.
I agree Sqad, there are more questions in this case and hopefully they have been or are being acted on.
sqad, no mention of the wife, except that she's now an 'ex', but the mother sounds a charmer.

//At the age of 15 I confided in a friend. He told me to tell my mother, who was dismissive.//
Normal release date is at the day after the halfway point in the sentence, the rest is suspended, so you still go back if you offend again during the 'suspension'

So this person will do 4 years 6 months and one day. Your last day in prison is called a 'porridge' which is where the term porridge for jail time came from. You are released after Breakfast or 'porridge' on the last day. Normally 9am.
