Propanolol And Heart Rate
4 Answers
I regularly use a rowing machine and always do 5K which takes me about 20 minutes, my heart rate gets up to a peak of 190. I've been using propanolol for the last 5 weeks and now find that my HR doesn't get anywhere higher than about 130 even though I'm doing exactly the same thing. Is this a usual side effect of propanolol and is the exercise being less useful from a health perspective if my HR isn't getting very high?
