Ahhhh, those were the days, eh?
Birdie //Do you really think that the Grenfell victims are the moral equivalents of those service men and women who died defending UK sovereign soil from illegal Argentinian invading forces? Really? //

I don't consider a soldier's life more valuable than a civilians, nor a civilian's more valuable than that of a soldier. All life is equally important to the 'occupant' of that life- for sure there are people who die heroically, people who sacrifice themselves to save others and that is absolutely laudable, however you can't say that a 6 year old child's life, who died in a terrible accident quite potentially caused, or at least exaccerbated, by negligence has less value than an adult who signed up to be in the army and fully understood the risks they were taking, that is frankly absurd. As I said the two things are entirely separate and we should not seek to muddy the two together for fear of not adequately respecting either quarter.
