hide basic groceries, sugar/bread/butter etc & take SIL shopping so she can pay & buy petrol. shopping is hungry work so she can buy you meals out.

Trips out to expensive places to amuse her & lighten her purse - sooner the better & she will be gone ;)

I had thought about doing that Jennykenny. I usually do have a p.m. nap on the sofa, but for "manner's sake" I will go to the bedroom. Good idea. Tambo, that idea may backfire. Mr.Sam always insists on paying, and her hand is slow to go into her pocket. Although she is very generous when we go to Japan. Another culture thing I suppose.

well my unwanted visitors didn't get the chance to come. She rang me 3 times in the night (I didn't answer) - I sent her an email to say I wouldn't be here. She emailed to say "not to worry - she'd see me next day". Another email from me "No I will not be here". That's all folks - do think I have got rid after 25 years. Never ever ever have I invited her - it all just "happened" to my misery. Yippee for me tho.
