I am a ridiculously patient person....not much that other folk do bothers or fusses me....except for.......
Shopping Trolley Etiquette!!!! Folk who block aisles are bad enough....especially when the trolley becomes an extension of their bottoms as they lean over a freezer. Honestly! Some bums are quite big enough without the attachment of a shopping trolley......
But it is the trolley abandoners who are the main culprits......just block a corner or an aisle when they go off to find something....or see a friend two aisles away and have to go and say hello.....
Today the main culprit was a man....there is always a numpty who arrives in the supermarket at the same time as you, isn't there.....but if they behave you can put up with them.
If you're single and it's a male you can eye them up and watch how many dinners for one they put in their trolley....... ;-)
By the third trolley abandonment I had had enough.....he left his trolley blocking the narrow turn at the end of the aisles......so.....
I tend to tidy, Mamya....I joined a group some years ago and one of the already members said.....I know you....you're the lady who arranges and tidies the books in the library....I've seen you do it....
And as for the knickers in Marks....takes me ages to get them is size order...... :-)
I go shopping Monday mornings after dropping Little Tigs off at school. It's very quiet at that time and not many peeps around so not many trolley abandonments. All the benefits of working from home one day a week.
What is currently peeing me off is that a car with a near falling off wing mirror and flat tire has been abandoned right outside my house. It's been there over 2 months now. Don't know whether to report it or not.
And loud neighbour music blaring out every flippin weekend!!
Tigs...I once reported a car left outside my house...turned out it had been stolen from a town eight miles away and the owner was happy to get it back....
As for the music......that's a horrid thing to have to put up with...so inconsiderate....x
I find that the main problem is those people (always a woman) who insist on having their trolley no more than a few centimetres from their body....right in front of the fresh fruit and veg. They take up the space of three people...I usually yank the trolley out of the way and give a withering look.
Maybe I will report it, Gness. I live in a road of terrace house with no driveways or garages and you're lucky if you can find a place to park after 6pm.
Loud music is a big problem where I live not to mention the extremely loud heavy base coming from passing cars late at night. The whole neighbourhood vibrates!!
Men seem to fiddle though, Jo.....as if it comes as a surprise that they have to pay.... ;-)
Try reporting, Tigs...you never know....x
Denton...many years ago I was shopping in Focus...the music was so loud I asked for it to be turned down just a little. The manager refused so I gave him my trolley full of decorating stuff and left.
Nearby was an Aldi. I had never shopped there before but popped in and there was no music...bliss! So now that's my first port of call for all my shopping......... :-)
