SUdo cream and Savlon....are they basically the same?

Are they the same basically cos one is really a lot cheaper than the other!

They both have the same active ingredients, in slightly different quantities:

cetrimide and chlorhexidine gluconate

I would sugget they are as equally good, but Sudocreme is less drying and can be used more liberally and in more tender areas.
Sudo cream is also water resistant to a greater degree which is why it's excellent for nappy rash.

I've even used it on my koi carp before....i kid you not !!!
Sudocreme is also excellent for clearing spotty skin - rub it in after washing at bed time and there will be a great improvement within 2 to 3 days.
I would choose Sudocreme over Savlon any day. I've never known Sudocreme to sting at all, which I have with Savlon. It's really good for all sorts of things.
