Janet And John Have Made It To....

....Davos....in an apartment with a massive balcony and two ash trays....

It did seem as if Switzerland was one long tunnel and we were going to miss the scenery.....but today has changed our opinion. A ride to the top of a mountain via the funicular railway, lunch on the mountain top and a long leisurely walk back through the forest has shown us the bird life, fantastic wild flowers.....memories of childhood....and a posturing wild hare....the care the Swiss seem to take of their countryside is just bliss.....and there is no litter!

Tonight is sitting with some of the best red I've tasted....in a glass fronted balcony....watching the rain and listenting to the football fans in the nearby bar.....another goal please, Switzerland!

Not at all, ael - Janet's iPaddy threw a wobbly and a simple smiley post was rendered into a yard of gibberish - I think a kindly editor has tidied it away.

Janet has gone for an interactive "Swiss Style in Crochet" session and will be back shortly.

The thin air up the mountains made Janet a tad confused....but it also takes away the breath needed to speak.....see John grin..... :-(
The grin will fade when Janet has made LiK's hat for him to wear..... :-)
Janet and John are unsure about adopting NoM.....does her pocket money cover her wine consumption?... ;-)

I'm so jealous...have been to Switzerland twice (all by rail) in Summer and they were two of the best holidays ever...enjoy!

Evening, Ginge...yes I can see you'd have a wonderful holiday here.....the scenery is just beautiful....
It's not like anywhere else I have been.....the houses and huts just dotted everywhere and so interesting..
The folk I've met have been lovely and the food is delicious....I've been trying so many new dishes....

My calf muscles know they're working hard though!
