If I'm reading this right - and do bear in mind I never attempt to impress, nor to be either trendy or 'right on' - if a confrontational group of men turn up at someone's house - even if that someone is a despised 'middle Englander' - the worst crime is not calling them names. I don't blame him for arming himself. So would I.
